Nowa Mitoshi (能輪 美年のわ みとし, Nowa Mitoshi; "Mitoshi Nowa") is the Referee #1 of Kakerou. He is also one of the Leader's Attendants.

Appearance[]

Nowa is a small frail-looking man with a large bald head and large ears. He is always seen in a very intricately made motorized wheelchair.

Personality[]

Nowa is a ruthless man, though he has a soft spot for his family. He judges the value of people with yen.

History[]

He scouted Nowa Shion into Kakerou and taught him to be a referee. During a trip to Hong Kong, he found Kyara. Impressed by his fighting ability, he brought him back to Japan and made him a referee. He observed a fight between Bái Lóng and Minowa Seiichi.

Poker Shark Arc[]

Nowa is called in to referee this match. He has low expectations of Kaji and finds the game to be boring. During the chaos caused by Rodem, Madarame Baku takes control of his wheelchair and requests him to schedule a Kakerou match for him.

Physical Abilities[]

Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Nowa's appearance belies deceptively and horrifyingly dangerous physical capabilities. He can shoot needles from his mouth.

  • Makuro Souji: According to Mitora, Makuro is one of Nowa's "favorites."
  • Midara Yuusuke: Midara is one of the only people who know his secret and Midara agreed to pretend to forget it.
